Homemade Whipped Cream

  • 1 stand mixer or bowl with hand mixer
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 cup heavy cream cold
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • In the bowl of a stand mixer (mixing bowl with hand mixer) add the cold heavy cream.
  • On medium speed, use the whisk attachment to whisk the cream until it begins to appear light and fluffy.
  • Add the powdered sugar and vanilla and continue to mix on medium-high speed until it forms light traces on the surface and soft peaks when the whisk is lifted. Do not over-whisk.
